Before learning:

When we had our first class, I could feel that time that you’re going to make a good progress in learning English. But at first, you were a little hesitating in expressing your thoughts. You usually thought that your pronunciation would not improve no more. You often made mistakes in constructing your sentences or ideas because you mixed up words and didn’t follow the grammar rules correctly. When it comes to your speaking, you opt sometimes not to say your ideas because you are afraid of making lapses. On to the other hand, your vocabulary and listening skill were doing fine. But I was hoping that time it could be up to the next level and sound more native in choosing the right words for your sentences.

After learning:

I don’t have a doubt about your progress after couple of months in our class. You even gain confidence and become more enthusiastic in taking up the class even though it makes a conflict in our busy schedule at work. You always find time these days to do all the activities and tasks I assign you and not finding out any lame excuses about not doing it. And now because of your hard work, you take home the bacon and probably I know you will be more patient and eager in making a better progress in the coming months because this is just a start of a good journey in learning English. You must remember that I often remind you that learning is a never ending process so you have to continue and strive harder in making your goals come true.
